Travelers crowd in, desiring, waiting, leaving, missing, wandering, hoping, dreaming...
The body carries, drags, sways between movement and stillness. It moves instinctively, guided by announcements and symbols, allowing the mind to disregard the surrounding chaos and drift towards an inner journey made of anticipation and nostalgia.
Here, the darkness takes its place to evoke the idea of a non-place and a suspended moment. It dresses the scene with its symbolism of mystery and the unconscious, absence and emptiness, silence and the unspeakable, to highlight our subterranean lives in this geographical and temporal in-between, where we often come face to face with ourselves.
